Use and Care
When the basket is filled with food scraps, pull the cartridge out by lifting the grab tab.
NOTE: The cartridge should be emptied on a regular basis even if no food is present in the basket.
Hold the outside of the cartridge, and empty all waste by turning it upside down into a compost container or garbage can. You may use a paper towel to wipe any excess grease on the outside of the cartridge.
Unlock the cartridge by twisting the basket to remove it from the base. Rinse as needed.
Insert the cartridge back into your sink drain.
Care Instructions
To clean the cartridge, remove it from your sink and twist the basket (quarter-turn) to unlock and remove it from the base.
Pull out the flow diverter.
Place all pieces in the top shelf of your dishwasher for a thorough clean or soak in a bowl of hot water with dish soap or baking soda.
Reassemble the product in reverse order and place it back into your sink drain.
